The Columbia Men's Peak 2 Peak Jacket features the wind and waterproof Omni-Dry technology. The jacket has three layers that serve to disperse perspiration through the layers. Since the layers are permeable, liquid can evaporate making this jacket suitable for the harshest mountain conditions.

Lightweight and proficient in any high-alpine situation, the Peak 2 Peak Jacket sports an innovative three-layer fabric that's completely waterproof, windproof, and ultrabreathable. Clean, thoughtfully engineered lines provide a striking framework for the technology inside this jacket--a sleek interior with a bonded liner, fully taped seams, and Omni-Dry, an extremely air-permeable waterproof fabric that diffuses the moisture vapors you generate while still shedding water in the worst of conditions. For times when your heart rate is really in the red, zip open the aptly placed underarm vents and let the fresh air flow in. Articulated elbows provide a natural fit and superior mobility. Hand pockets and a security pocket at left shoulder are all but invisible thanks to our Invizzip technology.

Columbia's most breathable waterproof technology, Omni-Dry is designed to keep you dry during highly aerobic activity, whatever the weather. This extremely air permeable waterproof fabric transfers the moisture vapors you generate out of the garment at an extremely high rate, while still shedding the elements in the worst conditions. Omni-Dry is the ultimate in waterproof technology for the outdoors. During physical activity, increased body temperature can cause perspiration. In garments with low breathability, this results in condensation causing the wearer to feel damp, clammy or even wet. This is often mistaken for leaky or faulty construction, and is always uncomfortable. With Omni-Dry, air is able to circulate through the fabric, helping to regulate the conditions in the garment and keep excess moisture from collecting inside, while still maintaining its wind blocking properties. This is achievable because the Omni-Dry membrane is highly air permeable and extremely thin and lightweight.
